Tobogganing in Altenmarkt – Zauchensee

In and around Altenmarkt – Zauchensee there are some very different tobogganing routes for you to discover. Those of you who don't have your own sled can hire them in the cosy lodges and inns located at the start of the toboggan routes.

The natural toboggan run on the Hochbifang starts at 1300 metres altitude. It heads through the forest, has a few zippy bends and is always very well prepared. You can even investigate this toboggan route in the evening when it is illuminated.

The toboggan run on the Schwemmberg is 3.5 kilometres in length. This toboggan run is something for those who don't have tired legs after an exhausting day of skiing, since you have to walk to get to the start of the route.

The longest illuminated toboggan run in Salzburger Land is the toboggan run in Radstadt. On top of it all this toboggan run is also the only one which you can access via gondola. Here it quite clear that the fun factor is high on the agenda. Nowhere else is it so easy to start your fun tobogganing session as in Radstadt, on the longest illuminated toboggan run in Salzburger Land. In Radstadt every Tuesday and Friday there is also the opportunity to toboggan on the illuminated six kilometre run into the valley. Having arrived at the top the tobogganing fun can begin!
